c, the real deal.

CTGIANG: Motivation and inspiration to make a difference, hello 2012.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead

I swallowed my pride and said what was bugging me first instead of continuing to leave it in the dark. I did it in the moment of things and I’m happy that at the least, I know everything is okay still. I feel better to have you know; but, I didn’t ask the question I wanted to know most, nor did you just say it. We’ll continue to move forward as our busy lives force us to. Thankful to have you.

We don’t always fall for your type, but some of us always fall for you, over and over again. You can be the cutie we met at that one party, the one down the street, the child of a family member’s friend, the classmate we had, or the stranger we never thought we’d become good friends with and fall for. You can be the one that we’ll be upset and or unhappy about but it never lasts, it’s always temporary. The troubles never seem to last long because fortunately for us, we both know how to get each other through every situation, whether it’s in regards to us or not. It makes us happy that in our moments of stress and dissatisfaction that you can lighten up our day by letting us know something so simple that we need to hear now and then, and to hear it from you means more than it would from any other person. It’s simple as a few words, those words don’t have to be “I love you” either; the words we hear can be a whole range of things but no matter what they are, they almost always help the situation because they came from you. We’re not saying we fall for everything you say or do, but some of us have the right person and a good person that has given us every reason to know that there’s other people out there that are the reasons for why we’re more thankful for you. You have given us a reason to mark off others in our lives to eliminate who will be of potential in our futures.

— Tell Me You Love Me
There’s always a moment, you know - the moment that changes everything. And I’m not talking about the first time you two met or the first time you two spoke or laughed hysterically at the same thing. I’m not talking about when he finally kissed you or hugged you to comfort you when you joked about how he only looks at you as a friend when that really wasn’t the case at all. I’m not talking about how when you drank to get drunk together, there was an immediate connection between you two like you’ve been friends for so long but nothing more even though there was always a question of something more in the back of you minds. I’m not talking about those moments. I’m talking about the moment you knew it would be something more. I’m talking about the moment right before anything happens between you two. I’m talking about the moment your hands accidentally brushed up against one another while sitting next to each other but were speaking to someone else. I’m talking about the moment right before the kiss - the look you two had, the mutual agreement made between your linked eyes, the longing, the can’t-wait-to-see-what-happens-next feeling, the is-this-really-about-to-happen feeling. I’m talking about this moment and how it changed everything, how nothing is ever the same after that and how you can never go back to how it was, no matter how hard you try. It was this moment that made every moment we had afterwards taste so bittersweet. It was this moment that I wish I could go back to relive again.. in hopes of a different ending.
